Description:
MilbemycinOxime is a macrolide antiparasite drug, an oxime derivative of Milbemycin A3 and A4.
As an internal medicine for preventing heartworm and intestinal parasites in dogs and cats, Milbexime was first used in China. Milbexime has a broad spectrum of antiparasitic effects, and has good repellent effects on internal and external parasites, especially nematodes and arthropods.
Milbemycin D is an oxime derivative of Milbemycin D, whose structure contains hydroxyl groups at the carbon-5 and carbon-7 positions, separate double bonds at the carbon-3 and carbon-14 positions, and a conjugated diene structure with carbon-8 and carbon-11. The Sankyo group chemically transforms the 5-position allyl hydroxyl Chemicalbook group to synthesize a series of oxime derivatives from Milbemycin A4 and A3, and the carbon-5 hydroxyl group is quantitatively oxidized to ketone by manganese dioxide. This keto-containing alpha, beta-hydroxylamine hydrochloride reacts in dioxane-methanol-water to produce a series of 5-imimilbemycin.
