01.Lafurtidine acts on sensory nerves in the stomach, mediates the synthesis and release of calcitonin gene-related peptide and nitric oxide, and plays the role of protecting mucosa, promoting mucosal repair, increasing mucosal blood flow and increasing mucus secretion of Chemicalbook, resisting mucosal damage caused by various harmful factors such as hydrochloric acid, alcohol, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and chemotherapy drugs. It can promote peptic ulcer healing, improve mucosal healing quality and prevent ulcer recurrence.
USE:
01.Lafurtidine also has a strong mucosal protective effect, and can produce anti-ulcer activity at a dose lower than the anti-gastric acid secretion. However, famotidine and cimetidine can exert anti-ulcer activity only at higher anti-secretory dose.
02.In animal studies, Lafurtidine accelerated the healing of gastric mucosal damage, including the restoration of thinner gastric mucosal thickness and reduced parietal cell count, whereas famotidine and cimetidine produced the same degree of anti-gastric acid secretion without these morphological effects. The existing proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) represented by omeprazole also have no protective effect on gastric mucosa.
