Experiment:
Take a sample of 250mg, dissolve in 2.5ml, dilute with water to 25ml. Take the liquid. Dilute 10ml with water to 100m1. Take 0.5, 30 and 50μ1 of the liquid and drop it 2cm away from the bottom edge of the TLC plate. The plate is coated with silica gel (i.e., 20cm×20cmBrinkman silica gel 60.250nm, or equivalent), and spread the chromatography 10cm in a well-balanced TLC development tank sealed with Chemicalbook. The developing agent consists of , acetic acid and water at 75:20 =20. Dry the plate overnight. The chromatographic plate was sprayed with a new iodoplatinate solution composed of 3ml 10% hexachloroplatinic acid, 97ml water and 100ml 6% potassium iodide solution. The sample should form a single color spot with an Rf value of 0.67 to 0.1.
