01.Doramectin is a new generation of macrolide anti-parasitic drug developed by Zoetum (formerly ) in the United States at the end of the last century. It is an abamectin antibiotic that is fermentated by a new strain of Streptomyces aviviae with cyclohexanamine carboxylic acid as a precursor and is considered to be one of the best anti-parasitic drugs in the abamectin family.
02.Compared with other ivermectin products, doramectin has higher blood drug concentration in the body, slower elimination, longer efficacy maintenance time, wider anti-insect spectrum, no allergic reaction and other characteristics, so it can be used as a good alternative anti-parasitic drug for ivermectin.
03.Dolamectin is a new type of avermectin anti-chemicalbook parasite drug, whose deworming effect is similar to that of ivermectin, both of which can inhibit the transmission of nerve impulse between neuromuscles, causing the parasite to paralyze from the host and die. However, due to the high blood concentration of dolamectin in the body, the elimination is slower (the half-life of dolamectin is 5.7d).
